The shape of the season
The 2026 Springbok season runs across five months and twelve official Tests, plus the season-opening fixture against the Barbarians. The structure breaks into four blocks: the home Nations Championship leg in July (England, Scotland, Wales), the Argentina-then-All Blacks block in August and September (one away in Buenos Aires, four against New Zealand including the neutral-venue Test in Baltimore), the Australia one-off in Perth on 27 September, and the away Nations Championship leg in November (Italy, France, Ireland) before the finals weekend at Twickenham.
For SA viewers, the broadcast schedule is mostly favourable. The July home Tests start at 17:00 SAST. The All Blacks home Tests run at the same time. The Baltimore Test against New Zealand kicks off at 22:00 SAST on 12 September, which is the latest start of the year. The Perth Test is the most viewer-friendly fixture of the season at 11:45 SAST on Sunday 27 September. The November away leg straddles the early-evening to late-evening window for SA fans.

Bet responsibly
Twelve Tests across five months is the longest sustained run of high-quality international rugby on the SA calendar. The cumulative spend per Saturday compounds faster than most bettors track.
